Coert served various Fire Engineering Organizations as well as Mining Houses, as well as Industrial and Commercial organizations for over 15 years, as a Project Manager and Project Office Manager until 2020. Coert served in these capacities where he was the project lead in various projects, ranging from the feasibility through conception, implementation and closeout of projects.
Coert is the Managing Director of CKM Consulting (Pty) Ltd and specializes in Risk Management, Project Management and through various training strategies, Management Consulting and enabling Technologies. He has excellent project management, corporate governance and business continuity knowledge and experience, allowing him to implement required solutions through workshops, strategy sessions and plan development. Coert trained industry experts on Project Management (PMBoK) as well as various other project management and lean management methodologies and since 2011. Coert played a vital role within various Fire Engineering organisations since 2007 to 2020 regarding the reaching of milestones, development of project charters, and development of project plans, budgets and ensuring that the deliverables are met.
